Terms and Conditions

Gifts Gone Gourmet accepts orders to be shipped to United States or Canadian destinations. Wine orders are shipped only to California, Idaho and Texas at this time.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Open account status is normally granted to businesses that provide three appropriate trade references and one bank reference. Terms are net 30 days. Any customer of Garrett Electronics may place company orders with Gifts Gone Gourmet on the same established terms.

Gifts Gone Gourmet is required by law to charge and collect state and local sales tax on all orders shipped to destinations within California and Indiana. Product shipped to open account customers, that is for resale, must have a state sales tax exemption certificate on file with Garrett to avoid sales tax charges on orders to these states.

Discrepancies and/or damage must be reported within 30 days of the invoice date to qualify for return.

All products listed in the catalog are stock items, and Gifts Gone Gourmet makes every effort to ensure that all product specifications and prices for each item are current as of the date of publication. However, prices are subject to change without notice and all orders are subject to current pricing at the time of order placement.

All prices are in U.S. dollars (US$) unless otherwise noted.

 
Shipping Information

All orders for standard in-stock product will be shipped the same day or next day (with the exception of the times that wine shipments are adjusted to limit extra time enroute at high temperatures as discussed below).

Gifts Gone Gourmet will ship product via UPS. Gifts Gone Gourmet does not accept COD orders. All packages are shipped FOB Origin (Santa Maria, California, USA)

On Internet orders, an estimated shipping cost will be listed with the total of your bill when you place the order. This shipping charge is our best estimate of the shipping charges but it may not be precise, due to the variation of packaging materials. You will be billed only for the actual shipping charges. There are no handling charges. An order placed on the Internet will be acknowledged by email with the exact amount of the order and the scheduled shipping information. You may track your order progress and shipping information on our website or by phone or fax.

 
Shipping information for orders including wine

Wine orders can not be shipped to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

At this time, orders including wine may be shipped only to California, Idaho and Texas.

Because of government regulations concerning the shipment of wine there are some regulations that need to be followed. The person signing for the shipment must provide a valid picture identification, proving that you are at least 21 years old, to the UPS driver or pick-up station. Proper identification is required to eliminate the return of the package to Gifts Gone Gourmet at your expense.

Unless you request otherwise, Gifts Gone Gourmet will adjust shipping dates for wine to avoid holdover time on weekends by UPS. Excess time at elevated temperatures is not healthy for the wine and we are concerned that you receive the best possible product.
